This was a really great video and has inspired me to make a more "I'm a hardcore card game player" analysis video about Hearthstone and the downfall. I still play Hearthstone pretty often and while I don't think its a good card game, I do still enjoy it for what it is - a neat mobile game that I can play in my down time that scratches the "I'd rather be playing Magic with my friends but I'm on my lunch break :(" itch that I get sometimes.

As for me, I don’t really do crafting of gear, but I gather T3, T4 and T5 fiber and turn it into cloth as my main money-making scheme. The reason? I’m a wuss and I’m scared of going into zones higher than yellow. It can be very relaxing to suit up, ox up, eat a pie and just run around a yellow zone for 30 minutes clicking nodes while watching a video. I also picked the desert zone to start in because it reminded me of home.

For what it's worth, you can get Warcraft, Warcraft 2 (including Beyond the Dark Portal), and Diablo (including Hellfire) on GOG. No need for an expensive physical copy, or even an inexpensive "physical copy"

Short version: the game is ok, besides forcing the full loot PVP, and community management is toxic and disrespectful. Long version: Albion is far from the best MMORPG, it is not bad, but the fact you are forced into full loot zones, plus toxic, disrespectful, petty and Draconian moderation, the worst customer support and general SBI's attitude towards players, even founders of their servers is making this game problematic. I recently got permbanned on forums for "being toxic" because I stood up for YZ faction warfare PVP players, I also once got banned for 30 days because I posted that support is unhelpful, they didn't even delete my threads. On the forum, moderators help trash the topics by posting off-topic stuff. I had a moderator spamming my thread with unrelated nonsense, and when I told her not to do that, I got banned for hounding the moderators. Because you have to read in a topic about faction warfare repairs about what movies and their endings moderator likes. And if you mention the game admin's forum account, moderators edit it out. Ah, about combat - this is not a sandbox, you either play meta or you always lose. And no, the game without premium is not viable, you will never make profit from crafting, gathering, refining, or farming without premium. This is not possible. This is why big, old rich players have 200 crafting chars which are premium because they accumulate so much silver they can pay for it. All economy balancing changes only hit new players. Faction Warfare, especially in yellow zones, is the only reason to play this game. Unfortunately SBI doesn't understand it.

I have searched for a long time to find a good mobile mmo. Since 2016s. Havent found anything worth a while. Played Arcane legends and Order&Chaos for a bit tho. Now im just into Action RPG. Eternium is quite good. Anima is fun. Diablo immortal is p2w.

What in the WORLD is that Lost Vikings 2 that you played?! That's like... a PC version? The SNES version does not look like that at all; it looks just like Lost Vikings 1. Which, by the way, is an awesome game, along with Rock 'N Roll Racing (though I would largely agree with Blackthorne), so your opinions are invalid :)

Loads of people leave steam games running to pad their game time. It's a weird and sad flex. I've seen people with almost as many hours in a game as it's been in release.

Heros of the storm was great but it feelt unbalanced and clunky and blizard fucked it with 2.0

Hots was a great game untill blizzard decided to make it competetive instead of fun and when that didn't pan out they put it on life support with no new content. It is to this game only moba I would play with someone to have fun because it is simple but fun.

I think the biggest problem with HOTS when it came out, was that it was a team required moba game, rather than a solo player moba game. I say this in the sense that ONE player couldn't dominate the entire enemy due to them sharing their experience with their team, thus making it uninteresting for people to watch and play. Also it came out too late.

Fake reviews are super common on Steam. I believe there are websites that will post fake positive reviews for your game, possibly with hacked and stolen accounts if you pay them. Wouldn't be surprised if the dev for that last game did that. The fact that the game's community forum literally has no topics makes me even more suspicious. Swords & Crystals literally had a peak of 5 players in the last 10 months if Steam Charts is correct. No one is playing the game, so those reviews make no sense.

D3 got my wife into gaming and we never get more than T6 or so in any given season because we're casual couch co-op offline console players. Honestly we're doing good to just finish our gear sets from the journey tasks and consider a season "beat" if we achieve that. But we still play every season with the same glee of that very first character. We tried D4 and it's just not as casual-friendly. Bummer, but that's okay. Not every game is for every person.

So Heroes of the Storm is really bad but Diablo 4 is far from awful? Dude are we in the same universe? D4 is one of the worst triple A games i have played with in the last like 10 years or so.

Playing with other people just invites an experience that I don't want to have. I don't want drama, I don't want to deal with a petty psychopaths in a guild with a slew of mental issues, I want to learn my class, experiment and deal with the weaknesses and consequences on my own without being told to get aids, cancer, that my family die and so on and last but not least, I don't want to join your Discord server because I want the game experience to be limited to what's in the game, and not some external community that's connected to you even after you log out.
